Vintage VOGUE editorials: Annie Leibovitz

Annie Leibovitz is my (and C’s) favorite photographer. Her shoots are visionary and directional, and always leave a strong imprint of her signature style. She brings fashion back to its basic art form, and yet elevates couture to allow us to dream and inspire. I can revisit her work a million times and never get bored because she pays so much attention to detail–there’s always a visual feast or something new to discover each time you view her photographs–yet the propotion and balance are all intact, and the emebellishments do not distract from showcasing the clothes.
